Highway records the drives you make and works out what they are worth under the published mileage rate for your country, so you can claim them back.

The figures Highway produces are a record of what it measured. They are not tax advice, and they are not a guarantee that any particular claim will be accepted by an employer or a tax authority. Check them before you file them.

You need an account to use Highway, you are responsible for keeping its password to yourself, and you are responsible for what happens under it.

One account belongs to one person. If you no longer want it, you can delete it from Settings at any time.

Automatic drive detection depends on the permissions you grant, on your phone's sensors, and on iOS deciding to wake the app. All three can fail: a phone in aeroplane mode, a revoked permission or an aggressive battery setting can each cost you a drive.

Highway is a tool for keeping the record, not a guarantee that the record is complete. Every drive can be edited by hand, and drives can be added by hand, precisely because of this.

Do not use Highway to track somebody who has not agreed to it, do not try to break into other people's accounts or company data, and do not attempt to disrupt the service for others.

We may suspend an account that does any of these.

Highway is free to a limited number of recorded drives and one vehicle. Beyond that it is a paid subscription.

Subscriptions bought on iOS are billed by Apple, renew automatically, and are managed and cancelled in your Apple account settings rather than here. Refunds for those purchases are handled by Apple under their terms.

The service is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and to keep your data safe, but we do not promise it will be available without interruption or free of faults.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law - including for death, personal injury, or fraud. Beyond that, our liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
